Role Purpose

We do things differently here. We are recruiting our own Inhouse Crowd Safety Management Teams to work closely with the Venue Management team and play a critical role in fan safety, creating a welcoming safe space for fans to come and enjoy the biggest acts in the world.

 

To help us prepare for opening our doors in April 2024, we are looking for Event Supervisors to join the team, initally supporting the recruitment of our Inhouse Crowd Safety Management Teams. Once we open, you will supervise a team of casual stewards on event days and support the preparation and organisation for event and non event days around exceptional fan experience and keeping our fans safe.


Just when you thought work has never sounded so good, we're offering on a flexible casual basis up to 40 hours per week start dates in December and January. What’s even better is the opportunity for you to move into a permanent role when we open in April 2024!

 

Hourly Rate: offering a minimum of £12.84 per hour plus holiday pay on top.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end to end recruitment cycle of great people joining our Inhouse Crowd Safety teams
  • Champion exceptional fan experience
  • Support the monitoring and reporting of issues or incidents at events and follow a clear process
  • Brief your team of casuals in readiness for an event with all key information
  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks in line with safe working procedures
  • Schedule casual stewarding teams for events, right numbers for each event to keep everyone safe
  • Manage event teams uniform and kit for distribution at every event
  • Working with the control room to monitor visitor / crowd movements and behavior to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Stadium or arena stewarding and or Security supervisory experience
  • Management of casual teams
  • Dispute / conflict management experience
  • A great leader who can make things happen
  • An infectious can-do approach
  • A passion to deliver the best fan experience through your teams
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience in getting things done

Desirable:

  • SIA License
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Spectator Safety
  • SIA CCTV License
  • ACT
  • Microsoft experience & administration skills
