Co-op Live arena is opening in April 2024 and is a joint venture partnership between OVG and City Football Group. We are proud to work with Co-op as our Naming Rights Partner.

Role Purpose

We do things differently here. We are recruiting our own internal Crowd Safety Management Teams, to work closely with the Venue Management team. You will play a critical role in Fan Safety, creating a welcoming, safe space for fans to come and enjoy the biggest acts in the world.

 

We are looking for experienced stewards and new talent, so there is something for everyone. You will receive paid training before you start, to ensure we’re ready to welcome some of the biggest artists to our stage. If you are looking for career progression in the music and entertainment space, we have career paths for people at Co-op Live, moving from a stewarding role into roles such as Supervisors, Level Managers, Venue Management and many more!

 

We are recruiting now for roles to start in April 2024! We are looking for people who are passionate about live events and delivering a world class fan experience for everyone. 

Responsibilities

  • Champion and deliver a exceptional fan experience in and around the arena
  • Assist our fans with general queries, scanning tickets and directing fans to their seats or seating area 
  • Keep everyone safe and sound with pre and post checks of your allocated area
  • Our arena is for everyone, supporting fans with any accessibility requirements
  • Be ready and alert to support potential hazards or incidents that may arise

This is a casual role offering flexible shifts around your commitments - shifts will include evenings and weekends.

 

Hourly Rate: Real Living Wage a minimum £12.00 per hour plus holiday pay

 

Start date: April 2024, when we open the doors to Co-op Live!

 

Interviews: will start from January 2024

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • A passion to deliver the best fan experience at our incredible new arena
  • An infectious can-do approach
  • Thrive when it's buzzing and show resilience in getting things done
  • A team player who can work under pressure
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Spectator Safety (or a willingness to achieve your NVQ Level 2 within 3 months of joining the team at Co-op Live)

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a similar environment this could be stadia /arena or anywhere you have provided an amazing service
  • Customer Service training
  • Manual Handling training
  • First Aid training
  • Evacuation chair training

Co-op Live will provide paid training and a full induction for all new starters joining the team! plus you will receive ongoing role relevant training and upskilling opportunities.
