About the Venue

Co-op Live is proud to offer a food and beverage hospitality service that stands head and shoulders above the rest. As the largest venue in the UK, we welcome over 23,500 fans per event and host more than 125 events annually, bringing fans and world-renowned artists to experience the unique flavours of Manchester. 

With 32 incredible bars and restaurants, 15 premium lounges and clubs, and our newly relaunched Premium Outlet, HIDEAWAY, designed by the famous Simon Rimmer, we deliver exceptional hospitality for Manchester and beyond. 

In just 28 days during the opening season, we've hosted 19 shows, including artists such as The Killers, Nicki Minaj, Eagles and Take That or Pearl Jam. We had the pleasure of hosting the prestigious European MTV Awards (EMA's) and welcomed iconic artists such as Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, Pet Shop Boys, and Tyla to highlight a few and we closed the opening year with Sir Paul McCartney.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an Events & Sales Coordinator who is passionate about sales. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to manage and organize all food and drink requirements. You will communicate with Lead Chefs and Hospitality Managers to make sure everyone has the right information and that any extra sales opportunities are captured. You will also handle accurate billing and help the Accounts team ensure payments are processed. You'll keep bookings, revenue, and sales data up to date, and make sure weekly sales reports are accurate. Additionally, you will help with sales strategies and meeting sales goals.   

   

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum,  based on experience

   

Start Date: February/March 2025

 

Knowledge, skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an Event management / Sales Executive or Sales / Admin role within the hospitality industry.  
  • Analytical thinker with exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, good sales & negotiation skills  
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in fast-paced environment, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently in professional manner  
  • Flexible - the role may not strictly adhere to a 9-5 schedule; flexibility is required
