Role Purpose

As the biggest live entertainment arena in the UK, we’re looking for a team of Maintenance Technicians to create an industry leading music and entertainment experience for our fans and artists.

 

This is a truly exciting opportunity to keep facilities running smoothly, support the general maintenance of the

venue and the development of new processes, ways of working from scratch and driving incredible performance.

 

You will be part of the ‘go-to’ team for the Venue Maintenance, with responsibility for completing both planned

and reactive tasks.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician you will aim to deliver the best fan experience. Reporting directly into Facilities Manager here at Co-op Live. You will get stuck in with reactive maintenance tasks, which contribute to providing an exceptional fan

experience during live events along with decorating and painting projects, minor plumbing repairs and carrying out carpentry repairs and small installations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

As a Maintenance Technician you will on site across days, evenings and some weekends on a Rota basis. You will possess the following skills -   

 

  • Knowledge of Facilities Management and building maintenance directly in large and
  • complex Event venues
  • Previous experience, ideally within an events based industry or similar environment
  • Ensure High standards are upheld when it comes to the completion of maintenance tasks and duties
  • Team player who enjoys positive energy, being resourceful, motivated to work in a high achieving
  • environment
  • Self-motivated with problem solving skills
  •  Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience, taking control, making decisions to meet tight deadlines in
  • a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate successfully managing planned and reactive maintenance
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the fan experience
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Working Knowledge of key compliance areas, including; Fire Safety, Legionella, Emergency lighting
  • testing and the Health & Safety at Work act.
  • Key skill set in either, electrical, plumbing, joinery or HVA

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
