Fenchurch Restaurant, poised on level 37 of the iconic Sky Garden, showcases RHC’s commitment to delivering culinary excellence and impeccable service. In acknowledgement of our ambition, Fenchurch has been awarded two AA rosettes as well as the Best of Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator Awards.

 

Role Purpose

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Head Sommelier to join our team at Fenchurch Sky Garden. As an Assistant Head Sommelier, you will play a crucial role in the success of our wine department, providing expert guidance to guests and team, and contributing to the overall excellence of our dining experience as well as assisting the Head Sommelier, and Group Head of Wines with the curation of the wine list. If you have a passion for wine, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service, we invite you to be a valuable part of the experience.

 

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification from a recognized wine education program is advantageous.
