Role Purpose

We are looking for a Casual Event Level Manager to join our team here at Co-op Live! Reporting to our Security and Venue Management teams, this varied role will oversee our Event Supervisors within the safety and security operation.

 

Fan focused, escalation point for supervisors, leading incident management, incident reporting, level lead responsibility, conflict and guest resolutions, ownership of staffing deployments on event day, solving shortages and redeployments, leading staff development and feedback during events.

Responsibilities

On Arena event days you will be responsible for running and managing the Safety & Security team for one level of the Arena; along with being responsible for pre and post event checks, to ensure compliance with legislation.

Our Casual Level Managers manage and support a team of supervisors who are responsible for casual event

stewarding and security teams on event days including but not limited to uniform distribution, conflict resolution and briefings. Delivering event team briefings and documents to enable key event information to be shared.

 

You’ll build strong working relationships with our service partners to ensure we can add additional resource to our teams as and when needed and work with the people operations team, security team & venue management teams to provide the best fan experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Please note this role is offered on a casual basis.

 

Joining us as a Casual Event Level Manager, you will ideally have a background in Stewarding and or security management experience in a Stadium, Arena or similar sector. You will be a great manager & leader, who can make things happen along with possessing either of the following - 

  • SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection License
  • NVQ Level 3 in Spectator Safety Management, or working towards

You will have skills across the following - 

  • Dispute / conflict management experience
  • Great guest service experience
  • An infectious can-do approach
  • Results focused; you thrive getting results through your team
  • Thrive when its buzzing and show resilience in getting things done.
  • A strong team player and confident challenging the norm
  • Great at building relationships

 

Desirable

  • Experience in incident management, preferably having a role within a structure
  • NVQ 4, Spectator Safety Management, or working towards
  • ACT e-learning
  • SCaN Awareness
  • CCTV license
