About the Venue

 

Since 2011, Rhubarb have provided all food and drink at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. With over 350 diverse and exciting events taking place each year, guests to the Royal Albert Hall can complement their visit with exceptional hospitality experiences.


The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 distinct restaurant spaces: the all-day, fast-casual Verdi Italian Kitchen; renowned grill restaurant the Elgar Room Brasserie and the beautiful Coda by Eric Chavot. Something for all backgrounds and levels of experience.

 

Role Purpose

Step into one of London's most prestigious venues and lead the team at Verdi Italian Restaurant, nestled within the iconic Royal Albert Hall. We're seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager who can blend operational excellence with genuine Italian hospitality to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience managing busy, quality focused restaurants
  • Natural leadership abilities with a talent for inspiring and developing teams
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Genuine enthusiasm and a positive, can do attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience with Italian cuisine 
  • Knowledge of fine dining service standards
  • Wine knowledge

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a dynamic restaurant team
  • Maintain exceptional food and service standards
  • Manage day to day operations including rotas, stock control
  • Build lasting relationships with guests and handle feedback with professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and events teams
