8 Bishopsgate is a diverse, multi-outlet tenant driven operation with an incredible range of hospitality. 8 features two café bars; a restaurant on level 26; The Lookout on level 50; executive dining and meeting rooms plus an auditorium for up to 200 guests. In addition, we cater events across the building.

We are looking for an experienced Head Bartender to join our team at 8 Bishopsgate. 

Whether familiar faces or visitors to the site, you’ll bring personality and passion to our business. As the Bartnder, you will work accross our amazing level 26 hospitality offering, including our bar to provide amazing customer service.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will need to have experience within food retail or similar quality led, high volume, fast paced environment. Great presence, personality, communication skills and a love of food and drink are essential.

What you’ll do…

• Lead the bar team in creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to enjoy themselves
• Be creative and share ideas to develop our menu – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trends
• Know your product and systems 
• Lead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and develop

What we’re looking for…

• A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self
• Previous Head Bartender experience , with wine & cocktail knowledge, stock control, closing tasks ( cash ups, reports, stock transfers)
• Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event
• You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
