The Brewery is an awarding winning event venue in the heart of City of London, delivering events from the extravagant to the discreet, for hundreds of customers or for a handful. We pride ourselves on a faultless service from the moment an enquiry is made through to follow up meetings post event. We have twelve rooms within The Brewery Venue and are still expanding.
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Manager to oversee the smooth and safe operation of the venue overnight. Responsible for the building and all teams on shift, you’ll coordinate departments including Event Logistics, Kitchen Porters and external contractors to ensure rooms are set, spaces are prepared and operations run efficiently ahead of the next day’s events.
This is a key operational role where strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to lead during overnight operations are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the building and night teams, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Coordinate logistics teams, kitchen porters and external contractors to ensure rooms are set and turned around according to event requirements.
Ensure event spaces and back-of-house areas are fully prepared and ready for handover to the Events Delivery team.
Oversee overnight cleaning and kitchen reset, ensuring spaces are ready for the following day’s events.
Act as Duty Manager during the night, responding to incidents, emergencies or evacuations and liaising with emergency services when required.
Maintain venue security, preventing unauthorised access and protecting company and guest property.
Complete required administrative tasks and shift handovers with evening and morning management teams.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, fire and security procedures at all times.
