About the Venue

Sky Garden sits at the very top of 20 Fenchurch Street — better known as the 'Walkie Talkie' — one of London's most recognisable landmarks. At 35 floors up, it's home to two restaurants, two bars, and a series of stunning event spaces, all set within a sprawling landscaped garden with sweeping views across the capital.

 

The operation is managed by Rhubarb, a leading luxury hospitality company and part of Oak View Group (OVG) — a global powerhouse in live entertainment and venue management. It's a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, high volumes, and absolutely no room for the back of house operation to slip.

 

 

Role Purpose

 

 

Location: Sky Garden, London
Pay: Up to £15.71 per hour
Hours: 30 Hous a week contract

 

Sky Garden is one of London’s most iconic destinations, welcoming visitors from around the world. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and confident Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and to help deliver an outstanding visitor experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, friendly, and efficient customer service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression
  • Handle visitor enquiries in person, by phone, and via email in a clear and courteous manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Reception Supervisor and Reservations Team, including bookings, guest lists, and general reception duties
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Food & Beverage menu items, enabling confident communication with guest
  • Support day-to-day reception operations, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times


About You

  • Previous experience in a reception, hospitality, or customer-facing role is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, well-presented, and customer-focused
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine interest in hospitality, food, and drink
