Sommelier - 2 AA Rosette Restaurant

£16 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team at Fenchurch Restaurant based at the top of the iconic Sky Garden. If you have a passion for wine, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering top notch service, we invite you to be a valuable part of the experience.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the Head Sommelier in the daily running of the wine department
• Delivering exceptional wine service, ensuring an outstanding guest experience at all times
• Advising guests confidently on wine pairings, recommendations, and regional knowledge
• Ensuring correct storage and handling of wines to maintain quality
• Maintaining high service standards in line with the brand and venue expectations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Certification from a recognized wine education program is advantageous.
