Here at Co-op Live, we are looking for experienced Event Safeguarding Officers to support an industry leading in music and entertainment experience for our fans, artists and the community of Manchester.
Hourly Rate: offering £20.60 per hour
Please note this is a casual position working evenings and weekends and covering all events. Therefore the need for flexibility is required.
You will be part of the Event Safeguarding Team and will be the first point of contact within the Co-op Live venue during event delivery. The post holder will provide a safeguarding triage service to ascertain the required support and co-ordinate as required. The post holder will support the Event Safeguarding Manager and wider team to ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with appropriately. The post holder will also support the wider Co-op Live Safeguarding Team with admin and liaison with external agencies where required.
You will deliver the Co-op Live Safeguarding strategy which creates the best fan experience in the UK. You will be assisting in the development and delivery of Safeguarding policy, procedures, regulatory and industry requirements and leading a team who are passionate about making this the best arena in the UK.
Salary: £20.60ph
We're looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting young people and families. You'll hold a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification (or higher) from a recognised provider and bring experience from dynamic, high-volume settings where managing competing priorities is second nature. Confident in using Microsoft Office applications, you'll be skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of external agencies and stakeholders. Most importantly, you'll have experience within a mental health service or a similar organisation supporting young people and/or families, demonstrating the empathy, resilience, and professionalism needed to sensitively handle communications that may involve emotional or distressing situations involving young people, parents, carers, and professionals.
