We are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable People Operations Event Assistants to support the delivery of event-day staffing operations at Co-op Live, ensuring our event workforce is equipped, supported and ready to perform at their best
Reporting to the People Operations Event Supervisor, this role is central to the smooth running of event-day people operations. You will support the coordination of staff check-in processes, workforce systems, uniform distribution and equipment management, helping to ensure operational readiness across the venue before, during and after events. Working closely with supervisors, managers and event staff, you will help create a positive and efficient experience for our workforce while maintaining high operational standards.
As a People Operations Event Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the distribution and collection of uniforms, supporting stock control processes and ensuring operational areas remain organised and event-ready. You will provide first-line support to staff using workforce systems, assist with event check-in activities and respond to real-time operational challenges as they arise. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting equipment sign-in and sign-out procedures, and producing end-of-event documentation and reports

Salary: £13.45 per hour
What you’ll bring:
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent support to colleagues. You will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities during busy live events. A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving are essential, as you will regularly interact with staff at all levels across the venue.
Previous experience within live events, hospitality or another high-volume operational environment would be beneficial, along with familiarity with workforce management systems and stock or equipment control processes. However, we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting people and operations.
